PBE Lake Campus - UniQuad Translucent Wall System
Project ID: 43807
When designing the Principle Business Enterprises' (PBE) manufacturing plant in Bowling Green, architect Kate MacPherson and PBE owners Carol and Chuck Stocking conducted extensive research to determine the best daylighting products on the market to incorporate into the facility. After identifying our UniQuad® translucent wall system, they traveled across the Midwest reviewing existing UniQuad installations and decided to incorporate 4,480 sq. ft. of the wall system into the new PBE headquarters. As part of our Direct2Fab expedited delivery program, the panels arrived on site in just 8 weeks, enabling the plant's exterior construction to conclude just before the cold, Ohio winter set in. The daylighting panels provide an abundance of natural light into the space, which is open 24 hours a day, and has helped boost productivity and the overall happiness of workers in the plant since its installation. This project was awarded the AIA Toledo Design Awards' 2019 Honor Award for its serene and sustainable design features.
