Boeing - Translucent Wall

Project ID: 31924
Located in Charleston, South Carolina, the Boeing 787 Final Assembly Building is a perfect example of the durability and design capabilities of our UniQuad® translucent skylight system. The facility needed to provide ample light, minimized glare, and meet hurricane wind loads due to its location near the Atlantic Ocean. Using the UniQuad system allowed the architects to maintain their vision for the 1.2 million sq. ft. space, meet all of the requirements expected, and was completed in just eighteen months. As a result of the facility, the Charleston workforce was boosted by more than five percent in the last four years and has provided over 7,000 new jobs for those in the community.
