The Austin Independent School District Performing Arts Center (PAC) features a 6,840 sq. ft. UniQuad® translucent wall system to keep the Texas heat out of the building while minimizing glare for those inside. This state of the art venue allows the diffused light to penetrate deep into the space through the white matte and clear matte glazing while unobstructed views are maintained inside and out. During evening events, the interior lighting in the main lobby backlights the panels, creating an illuminated lantern effect that the PAC’s owners were looking for. The project earned certification from both LEED and the local Austin Green Building Program.
